DJ DNS

DJ | Turntablist | Musician DJ DNS has been crowned three times winner of the Dutch DMC Championships and other dj battles such as Turntablized and the ITF Beat-Juggle Championships.

He represented The Netherlands several times during the DMC World Championships, solo (Supremacy) and with famed dutch DJ crew ‘SL Trooperz’.

In 2012 he became Holland’s national ”Red Bull Thre3style” Champion and performed on the World Finals in Chicago later that year. DNS has extensive experience in all possible aspects of dj- ing, he regards his turntable as a musical instrument and describes himself as a all-round DJ with a hiphop background.

Over the years he worked with several artists like Diggy Dex and Extince (famous dutch artists) and played along with dj’s, big bands, orchestra’s and opened for international acts such as DJ Premier, Dj Q-Bert, Beatjunkies, Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg, Mobb Deep and supported Masta Ace (USA) during shows in Holland and Norway.

He also has a project called “Decks and Drums”, this is a combination between drummer and DJ + invited guests (Musicians, Mc’s, Singers) His deejay sets stand out because of the wide choice of musical genres (hiphop, r&b, soul, dance, dancehall, reggae, breaks, bass, rock and more) in combination with turntablism and scratching. That’s why he also regularly appears at big dance festivals in The Netherlands, plus this also brought him to perform in many other country’s.

DJ DNS is now working on various musical projects, makes online mix video’s, plays in clubs/ festivals, teaches dj-ing /producing and regularly speaks on seminars/masterclasses.
