Dj One Up

One Up is a french DJ and beatmaker based in Nantes, France. Passionate about soul, funk and hip hop music he’s been playing at the most prestigious hip hop events around the world and abroad for almost two decades.

From Los Angeles to South Africa, and most recently in Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Belgium – he has built his reputation on the quality of the rare and original sounds. His creative work has been particularly acclaimed at the latest Red Bull BC One World Finals that took place at the famous Roland Garros in Paris where he was officially deejaying.

One Up also stands out for his participation in groundbreaking creative projects that blend different artistic disciplines such as HIPOPsession festival, Pass Pass & Red Bull Music. Frequently involved in collaborations with other djs on stage and on record projects, he’s been also driven by the desire of transmitting his passion for music.

In 2009 he founded « From Scratch » association to develop the cultural and educational aspect of deejaying and sound design. His musical influences are wide-ranging and representative of his state of mind and motivations.

Since my beginning in 2000, the Technics MK2 turntables have always been a childhood dream come true. “I get my first pair of MK2 in 2006”.
