I started DJing with vinyl back in 1986. The Technics 1210 was our weapon of choice back then. In the ’90s, I ran a chain of record stores in Bavaria called ‘Recordstore’. To this day, I’m a true vinyl lover.

And even though I mostly play digital sets these days, I’ve been getting more and more requests for vinyl gigs again. Let’s be honest – it’s still the coolest way to play music.

Tom Novy is a true pioneer of electronic music with a career spanning over three decades. Starting in 1986 on vinyl with Technics 1210s, he quickly rose through the ranks to become one of Germany’s most respected DJs and producers.

Known for chart-topping hits like “Your Body” and “Now or Never”, his sound blends house, electro, and deep grooves with timeless precision. In the ’90s, Tom ran iconic record stores in Bavaria, fueling his lifelong love for vinyl – a passion that still defines his identity.

While most of his current sets are digital, the vinyl culture never left him, and exclusive vinyl-only gigs are back on his schedule.

With residencies from Ibiza to Miami and releases on legendary labels, Tom Novy doesn’t just play records – he creates moments. His music isn’t about hype. It’s about heritage, quality, and pure energy on the dancefloor.
