Labelled by Resident Advisor as “one of the classiest and grooviest house DJs out there,” Dana Ruh is a musician who lives and breathes music like few others. As a DJ, producer, label owner and community builder, she has become one of the most distinctive voices in Berlin’s electronic music scene and far beyond.

Born in Gera and rooted in Berlin for over two decades, the city has deeply shaped her artistic vision. Dana Ruh’s productions range from subtle, minimalist textures to deep, elegant house and driving techno grooves. Whether she’s playing in clubs in Bucharest, on Ibiza or during her long-standing residency at Berlin’s Club der Visionäre, her sets are known for their versatility and finely tuned sense for atmosphere and momentum.

Her acclaimed debut album Naturally was released on Jus-Ed’s Underground Quality 2014 followed by EPs and records on respected labels like Slices of Life, Autoreply, Smallville Records and most recently Cave Recordings, where she released her second full-length album Time Out Of Mind in 2020.

Beyond her artistic output, Dana Ruh has played a key role in shaping independent infrastructures for electronic music. In 2007 she founded Brouqade Records, now widely respected as one of Berlin’s most credible and forward-thinking platforms for house and techno. The label showcases both established names and emerging artists always with a strong curatorial identity.
In 2015, she co-founded KMA60, a unique hybrid space combining a record store, distribution platform and community hub. After parting ways, she carried the physical location forward as 60waves from 2023 onward a creative space in Berlin-Neukölln that included a gallery, studio, vinyl shop and event location. It quickly became a gathering point for artists, labels and music lovers from across the globe.

With two albums, a wide catalog of EPs and remixes, Dana Ruh has built a discography that speaks to her deep musical sensibility and consistent vision. Since 2025 she has been working on a new project with Gabriele Carasco and preparing further releases on her label Brouqade. Her third studio album is scheduled for release in 2026.
