MARY GEHNYEI Born in Rome with Liberian roots,she started her musical adventure as an mc in most of the important Italians club.
In the meantime she started working in the cinema industry as an assistant and costume designer alongside incredibile Italians filmmakers, Marco Bellocchio, Michele Placido and Sergio Rubini.
During the years she collected Vinyls, at the beginning It was just for her own listening but finally a became a fantastic obsession that takes her to Play. That’s how she was born as an artist,a female dj with an interesting and eclectic musical background,with soul,reggae and afro influence,reaching to what she loves and she plays with her vinyls.
From 2016 she started working as a dj, playing with internationals artists like Tony Humphries, Andrew Watherall, K-Hand , Soul Clap ect.. Now she also started teaching the art of DJing for various music schools around Italy.
