Technics and Union Audio are joining forces in Barcelona this June for a three-day activation dedicated to analogue sound, DJ craftsmanship and club culture. Spanning an educational programme at Bridge48, alongside key club events at Detroit Club, including the OFF BCN Showcase featuring leading artists such as Cristian Varela – the collaboration brings together a network of brands, artists and partners connected by a shared commitment to sonic integrity, performance and the enduring culture of the dance floor.

TUESDAY 16 JUNE – BRIDGE48
Bridge48 serves as the educational and cultural hub of the Barcelona programme, bringing together Technics, Union Audio, Ortofon and leading local voices for a series of talks and workshops focused on analogue sound, DJ culture and club practice.
Highlights include The History of Technics SL-Series, presented by Stefanie Baron, alongside a deck calibration session held in memory of Marc Farb, honouring a lasting contribution to Barcelona’s analogue community. The programme also features a special Ortofon talk by DJ ND, an in-depth Union Audio session with Adrian Silvester, and the panel discussion A.L.T Agency – Connecting the Dots 01: Who Curates the Club?, moderated by Patricia Pareja. An equipment maintenance workshop hosted by Sounds Market completes the line-up.
TUESDAY 16 JUNE – DETROIT CLUB PRESENTS: TECHNICS & UNION AUDIO OFF-WEEK SHOWCASE
Following the presentations at Bridge48, the collaboration moves into the club environment with Analog Minds, a night jointly presented by Union Audio and Technics at Detroit Club from midnight to 05:00.
Headlining the night is Dave Mech, performing a fully hardware-based Live Set. Known for his deep, intricate and industrial techno textures, the Diffuse Reality artist is set to deliver an uncompromising sonic journey. Joining him is Germany’s Luke Sun, a key figure from Frankfurt’s renowned Move collective and resident at the legendary Tanzhaus West, bringing his energetic, forward-thinking club sound to Barcelona. Completing the stellar lineup is Italy’s Mary Gehnyei (Afterhouse / Vynylya), whose sets are deeply rooted in the vinyl culture, seamlessly blending classic foundations with modern hypnotic rhythms.
ANALOG MINDS promises to be a masterclass in sonic exploration, showcasing the rich synergy between top-tier technology and artistic innovation in one of the city’s most intimate clubbing spaces.
WEDNESDAY 18 JUNE — TECHNICS-UNION AUDIO OFF BCN / Cristian Varela
On Wednesday 18 June, MIRACLE & SWIFT x Technics x Union Audio present the OFF BCN Showcase at Detroit Club, in collaboration with BacklineproDJ. Running from midnight to 05:00, the event brings the Barcelona activation fully onto the dance floor with a night dedicated to analogue energy, vinyl culture and forward-facing club sound.
The line-up reflects that vision with a powerful programme led by Cristian Varela, Ramiro Lopez, DJ Pergo, C.MØ and OMVRA, all performing vinyl sets, alongside a live performance from Fernando Lagreca. Together, the artists bring a broad spectrum of techno expression to the showcase, from deep groove and precision mixing to live intensity and late-night momentum, creating a high-impact statement for the Technics and Union Audio collaboration in Barcelona.
TUESDAY 17 JUNE — UNION AUDIO AT CUTOFF PRO AUDIO
On Wednesday, Union Audio moves to CutOff Pro Audio for a store takeover in collaboration with Elektron with a masterclass by Dave Mech. A pioneering figure in the hardware-led live performance space, and with a new release coming out on Barcelona record label ‘Diffuse Reality’, Dave will walk through how he integrates the Union Audio elara.6 into his live production set-up alongside his Elektron toolkit — exploring signal routing, mixer technique and the creative possibilities that open up when analogue hardware is placed at the centre of a performance rig.
Elektron will be in attendance to give an insight into their highly regarded drum machines and groove boxes. The masterclass is free to attend but ticketed via Eventbrite.
